Important things to know when postponing your Wedding
The Corona virus crisis has hit everyone hard. A lot of couples have a deep sense of anxiety about the ongoing crisis & the postponement of their weddings. As of now there is no clear understanding on when the lockdown restrictions will be eased for mass gatherings & celebrations. A few important steps you should take
1. Stay positive: The most important factor of all. Yes.. it is a very difficult decision to postpone the most important day of your life but the present situation is something that was incomprehensible. Since you have 4 to 6 more months to go maybe you an plan something even better.
2. Plan a tentative date which is 4 to 5 months from now: Since there is no clear picture on how the things will shape up it is best to have a date which is not too close by. Discuss the date with both the families & have at least 2 to 3 dates in your list. There is a likelihood that if you select 1 single date it may not be available at the banquet hall.
3. Keep everyone informed: Keep all your family & friends who will be part of the weeding in the loop. The easiest way of doing it is to prepare a whatsapp template & send it to multiple people.
4. Inform your vendors: If you chosen a few date options, communicate that with your vendors & get to know their availability. Also get a clear picture of the commercials as no one can be certain of the prices after a period of 5 to 6 months from now.
